Searcy Family Health Professions Scholarship Endowment
Tom Searcy was a force for good whose kindness and dedication touched countless lives. When Ascension Seton Hays opened in 2009, Tom and his wife, Joan, were among the very first volunteers. Over the years, they gave more than 5,700 hours of service, offering comfort, compassion, and a welcoming smile to patients, families, and staff.
In 2014, Tom and Joan created the Searcy Family Health Professions Scholarship Endowment. This endowment provides scholarships to Ascension Seton Hays associates pursuing the education needed to begin or advance a career in healthcare. To date, it has awarded more than 38 scholarships, empowering caregivers to follow in Tom and Joan's footsteps of service and compassion.
